Unlocking customer details
You can spend credits to enrich the details of an energy request. Enriching a request reveals the buyer’s name, telephone number, email address, and full property address, so you can reach out and pursue the opportunity directly. Credits are included with your plan.
There are two ways to gain an energy request’s contact details. You earn them automatically at no credit cost when a buyer completes your quote, and you can enrich the request at any time before that by spending credits. This guide covers the second path. For the first, see When you win a quote.
What it costs
Section titled “What it costs”The cost is set by the size of the opportunity: one credit for every 1000 kWh of the buyer’s estimated energy volume, rounded up to the next whole credit, with a minimum of one credit. A larger request therefore costs more to enrich than a smaller one.
| Estimated volume | Credits to enrich |
|---|---|
| Up to 1000 kWh | 1 |
| 1001 to 2000 kWh | 2 |
| 4500 kWh | 5 |
| 10,000 kWh | 10 |
The exact cost for a given request is shown on the button, so you always see the price before you commit.
How to enrich a request
Section titled “How to enrich a request”- Open the request from the Requests page.
- In the contact panel, select Unlock customer details. The button shows the credit cost for that request.
- Confirm the spend. The credits are debited from your balance and the buyer’s full contact details appear in place of the masked panel.
Once a request is enriched, its details stay available to your account and you are never charged for it again. You keep access even after the request closes or expires.
Purchasing more credits
Section titled “Purchasing more credits”If your balance is below the cost of the request, the button is disabled and shows the number of credits required, alongside a link to add more. Credits come with your subscription and reset each billing cycle, so you gain more by moving to a higher plan for a larger monthly allowance, or by waiting for your next cycle to reset. See Billing and plans to change your plan.
Who can enrich a request
Section titled “Who can enrich a request”Both Owners and Members can spend credits to enrich an energy request. See Account and organisation settings for the full breakdown of what each role can do.
